RENTAL CONDITIONS
The motorbike will be available at our Buggy & Bike base in São Bartolomeu de Messines and must be returned within the scheduled time at the time of collection, according to the base's opening hours.
Any delay in delivery will result in the payment of an additional rental day.
Collection and delivery of the vehicle from 9am to 7pm
Credit Card
The lease holder must have a credit card as guarantee; only credit cards with embossed numbers are accepted. Visa Electron and prepaid cards are not accepted.
Upon collection of the vehicle, an amount of €2,500.00 shall be blocked on the credit card. It is the responsibility of the signatory of the rental agreement to ensure that there is sufficient funds on the credit card to cover all expenses. This amount can be used to cover the costs of any deductibles, damage caused to the vehicle, fines, refuelling, etc.
Age
Minimum age required 21 YEARS.
Compulsory driving license Cat A, valid and issued for at least one year is indispensable.
Insurance
The cost of the vehicle includes liability insurance.
The person who signs the lease is responsible for all damages caused during the rental and that are not compensated by the following insurance:
Driving off marked off-road rails.
Intentional acts or negligence
Use of prohibited substances by the driver
Use of the vehicle that violates the Portuguese laws and / or the provisions of the rental agreement.
You can opt for all risk insurance with a 600.00 franchise at a cost of €20.00 per day
Gasoline
The rented motorbike will come supplied with the full tank of gasoline and should be delivered full, otherwise it will be debited from the credit card the missing gas cost and the fee for the refuelling service which is about 75% more than the price of gas stations.
N.B. In case of a breakdown, accident, or theft of the vehicle or for any disturbance that may occur, the customer is obliged to contact the locator immediately so that he can take appropriate measures to solve the problem. In case of accident, theft or vandalism, the client should also notify the police.
